Ryan Hardy, MD

About

Ryan W. Hardy, MD is a fellowship-trained general surgeon caring for patients in Caldwell, Idaho and its surrounding communities. Dr. Hardy received his medical degree from Georgetown University before completing residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He has been caring for patients in the Treasure Valley for more than 25 years.

Dr. Hardy is available to care for every member of the family and provides a wide-range of surgical procedures, including advanced minimally-invasive techniques. He is one of only a few surgeons in Idaho who have completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and has a special emphasis in foregut surgery to care for reflux and hiatal hernia repairs.

Dr. Hardy approaches each patient as an individual and will tailor his interaction with each patient to help solve their unique problem. Dr. Hardy truly cares about his patients and will spend the time and energy necessary to build that true doctor/patient relationship.

In his free time, Dr. Hardy enjoys backpacking in the high backcountry of Idaho and hiking over the trails in the Boise foothills. He also enjoys playing golf and reading a wide variety of books. Dr. Hardy and his wife have three grown children and are looking forward to eventually becoming grandparents.
